In order to break even or profit in hunting or mining you need both the skills, tools and knowledge. Things that don't come cheap. And when I started playing a long time ago, when sweat went 2 pec a bottle it was still feasible to start out for free.
Nowadays, even more than ever people are sweating, bringing the price down to laughable depths. Or spend hours trying to find fruits and stones. Or they wait in line at the oil rigs like food-rows in the old soviet regime.
It saddens me that in a game meant to give the experience of a capitalistic economy, with all its lessons, merits and flaws; people do such endeavors that don't help them forwards.
In Entropia as well in real life business it takes money to make money. Now most people that start a business had to work to save money to start that business. You could say that gathering sweat is a way of saving up and 12 years ago that might have been a good idea. But as it stands today there is no good way of making PED in-game.
But don't panic; there is a way to make to make 50 PED an hour without even leaving the chair you sit on.
Basically you need two things:
- a PayPal account
- Register on Get-Paid.com
Get-Paid
After you register on get-paid.com you'll notice you have a dashboard on the top of the home screen showing a experience bar and to the right of that you'll see a coin symbol with your number of coins.These are the two important stats.
- Each coin is worth 2PEC (0.2 cents)
- The important thing about the experience bar are the levels. Each higher level will give you more bonus coins for each coin you earn. And some features of the site can only be used if you are level 3 and up.
Efficiently making PED
Now, the best way to make PED is not to click on everything or god forbid dowloading apps on your phone and ruining it.It is doing surveys. In terms of pay-out versus time spend ration, nothing pays out as much as doing surveys. There is however a big range in pay-outs from less then 100 coins (2PED) to a 1000 coins (20PED). And better paying surveys doesn't mean they take longer to finish. Most of the surveys take between 5 and 20 minutes to finish and the biggest issue is getting qualified for them.
1. Daily survey
The daily survey brings in 200 coins (4PED) and can be done once each day.
Note: sometimes the daily survey gets replaced with Saysoforgood which brings in more coins.
2. Say so for good
You find this one under earn more --> say so for good. Payment for surveys go from 200 coins to 1600 coins (32PED). This is the best paying option for surveys.
3. Offertoro
You find this one under earn more --> Offertoro. Some surveys pay well, others don't.
4. other surveys
There are other surveys under earn more --> xxx. Some of them like Superrewards have good rewards. I would say any survey that rewards 200 coins and more is a good payout.
Bonus coins
If you make 300 coins in a daily, you can spin the wheel which pay out between 1 and 100 coins.
As you go up in level you'll earn a bonus each time you make coins. The higher your level, the higher the bonus percentage.
And if you make a lot of coins you might win the monthly ATH and get another 25000 coins.
Cashing out
Once you made enough coins, it is time to get paid out. Click redeem coins in the top menu and click cash out now. It will show you the maximum amount you can cash out but you can select a lower number if you wish to.It will take a couple of days before the transaction is completed and the money shows up in your PayPal.
Depositing
When depositing through the webshop you will see you have a couple of options. If you go for pure PED you'll notice there is a 5% fee. If you are going to use the PED to go hunting or mining you might want to opt for universal ammo instead. Not only do you receive 100PED of ammo, but you also receive autoloot pills which you can TT and H-DNA which sells on auction with mark-up.Ofcourse you can also buy strongboxes and hope to get one of those rare or unique rings.
